ABOUT ME

Unveiling the Creator

Deven Ahire is an Indian writer, filmmaker and poet, living in London since 2021. His first book as a poet, titled Transparent, was self-published when he was only 15 years old. His latest book 'Pheromones' is a seasoned collection of love poems with a wild twist of erotic themes, and is available worldwide. Deven also has some of his short stories published as a part of anthologies. Beyond the literary world, he is a skilled screenwriter and director with a career in independent filmmaking that spans 10 years. His latest short film titled 'London,Punjab' for which he wrote the story, screenplay and dialogue, achieved an official screening at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival (France, 2023).

Deven's true mission through his work is to help people deal with negative emotional blocks like shame and guilt that prevent us all from becoming the best versions of ourselves. His upcoming projects include his most ambitious and most personal short film yet, another book featuring his latest poems about love that transcends time and reality as we know it, a poetry workshop directly helping people find release of their shame through poetic expression, and a poetry exhibition themed around coping with a traumatising childhood.
